Live Webinar with Doug Tallamy: A Guide to Restore the Little Things that Run the World

Visit the Audubon Florida YouTube Channel to view a recording of this program.

For those of you who were disappointed that Doug Tallamy couldn’t present to Apalachee Audubon last spring, we are happy to announce that Florida Audubon is hosting a live webinar with Dr. Tallamy on Tuesday, September 22 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm! This webinar will be Apalachee Audubon’s first program meeting of the year, and we are excited that it will be accessible all across Florida. Note that this program takes place on Tuesday, September 22. We will return to our regular third Thursday program meetings starting in October.

Dr. Doug Tallamy is a renowned entomologist, bestselling author and a great speaker. He is currently a professor at the University of Delaware’s Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology and has taught insect related courses for 40 years. Chief among his research goals is a better understanding of the many ways insects interact with plants and how such interactions determine the diversity of animal communities, especially birds. Doug’s books Bringing Nature Home (2007) and Nature’s Best Hope (2020) are New York Times Best Sellers. Join us on this webinar and learn why native plants are the key to the future!
