Ochlocknee River State park is comprised of beautiful marshes bordering the Sopchoppy River and longleaf pine savanna. We will meet at 8:30 by the boat ramp and caravan for the short, scenic drive before hiking the 2.6 mile loop through the pines. The trail is flat and easy. Please bring binoculars, water, snacks, and a camera if you’d like. If you would like to borrow binoculars, please let us know in advance and we can provide loaners. This This is not a guided bird walk, but rather a chance to meet other birders and bird at your own leisure and pace.
