Birdathon 1998 total consolidated bird species list
List of 167 avian species seen during a 24 hour period on April 19.
Areas "birded" include: Local Tallahassee and Monticello, San Luis Mission Park,
Springhill Road Spray Fields, Wakulla Springs State Park, St Marks NWR, Mashes Sands,
Bald Point, Aligator Point, Carrabelle, and St George Island.
Sunday April 19 was dark and gloomy, and rained on and off most of the day.
Not an ideal day to be outdoors, unless you're an avid birder. Your intrepid
bird-a-thon group braved the elements to go out and about the local area, and
spotted a total of 167 different avian species. Here's the list:
